SWsoft Introduces Single Sign-On
May 3, 2007 -- Web hosting software provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Thursday that it has introduced its Single Sign-On technology, enabling customers to more easily use and manage applications, as well as reduce the administrative costs of password management for Web hosting providers. The SSO technology includes open protocol specifications that can be applied by all Independent Software Vendors in their applications, available for free on SWsoft Developer Network (swdn.swsoft.com/en/openfusion). With Single Sign-On technology, users only need to enter their login and password once for the duration of the session, regardless of how many applications will be used.
An SSO server that will ship in upcoming releases of SWsoft Plesk, HSPcomplete and PEM products, enabling service providers to implement their own SSO server using the SSO specifications available on SWDN.
"Modern software-as-a-service offerings can consist of hundreds of components that need to be well integrated. SSO provides unified user credentials to streamline the integration required," says Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft. "SSO advances our open fusion initiative by simplifying application development, and by making it easier and less costly for hosters to offer new services that provide a better user experience for their customers."
SWsoft recently announced it attained Microsoft's gold certified partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program.
